Normally as the year ends I have a whole set of goals for the new year in mind already. This year I couldn’t think of specific things I wanted to devote brain space to. There are so many goals and hopes for this website and podcast that I am suffering a sort of ‘goal paralysis’, too many goals not enough brain space. I’ve forced myself to sit down and get some things out on paper.
I highly suggest the book ‘The Happiness Project‘ by Gretchen Rubin (I suggested this book in my gift guide– I truly love it). She talks of her own project to make small changes every month to equal bigger changes in her overall happiness. If you start reading it before New Years you’ll feel more prepared. I really suggest setting goals or something to work towards for the new year. In my New Years podcast episode Erin Sisson will be on talking about how to ease into January, focusing on attainable goals and more.
The podcast will be taking a week off this next week but we’ll be back with more episodes as soon as January hits.
