Peta’s latest plans for bringing awareness always bring controversy. What’s your take on these billboards? Personally, I like the idea.
Typical article written you find on google. They present the ‘good’ attributes then bring in a ‘nutrition expert’ who says things like this, “Oftentimes, a plant-based diet turns out to be a simple carbohydrate diet, and that’s not good for our hormones. It can cause inflammation, increase PMS symptoms, cause bloating, etc.” UHH, hello! Animal foods are the most inflammatory foods on the planet…so many things are wrong with this statement…The longer you’re vegan the more you just weed out ‘studies’ like this with ridiculous logic and ‘experts’.
I’m on a hardcore minimalist kick, this message resonates with me.
I’ve been crushing hard on soup lately. Here’s a few recipes I’ve pinned to make. Coconut Curry Soup, Thai Curry Veggie Soup, Crockpot Detox Lentil Soup, Golden Coconut Lentil Soup, and last but not least, Warming Carrot Ginger and Turmeric Soup.
You don’t realize how many single use items you use until you try to omit them. I just bought this mini pencil case to hold thrifted silverware to keep in my purse for plastic silverware only situations. You don’t realize plastic only happens ALL the time, even when you eat in at Whole Foods or Chipotle.
