Fall is here and I am all in, ALL in I tell you. Wearing flannel, roasting squash, pretending it’s cold and drinking tea at night, the whole 9. I’m insane, I know, it was 80 degrees yesterday. All this from a person who doesn’t exactly love winter…just trying to enjoy the season we’re in now and plan for fun adventures for winter (learning to ski). Good news is, I’m looping you in on the fall fun with some fall recipes and such below. Hello, the below recipe has ‘harvest’ in the name!

Big HUGE news! Last week we talked about Pizza Hut adding vegan options in the UK, find the news here. This week we’re talking about the big kahuna of fast food…McDonalds! The McVegan is only available at one location but hello! This is huge news. Big chains lay the groundwork for making veganism accessible to the people. When more people have vegan options within reach it makes it more reasonable for people to see themselves going vegan. So exciting!
How cute is the Edgy Veg? Her new cookbook, ‘The Edgy Veg: 138 Carnivore-Approved Vegan Recipes‘ just came out a few days ago and it looks fantastic. She’s been on the podcast, way back on ep23, if you want to hear more from her.

All of us would love to have a partner, spouse, best friend who shares our love of veganism, but it’s not always the case. This article has a nice write up about lessons learned from having a non vegan partner. Something to think about to those who are struggling to accept your loved ones not being on board.
Lunch packing queen is my name and I’m currently obsessed with these Leak Proof Canisters from Klean Kanteen. They are so handy, yet also so cute in your lunch bag. Obviously, my priorities are straight. Plus, it can hold all your fall soup & chili lunches.
Sometimes when my kitchen is messy it takes everything inside of me to get it back in tip top shape because no dishwasher equals no fun. This kitchen looks like a freakin’ dream to cook in, and even read a cookbook in! Ah to have a bright white, clean space, what a dream! That before and after though!
Fall recipes are screaming out for a little sweetness and cranberries are just the ticket. This ‘Harvest Quinoa Salad with Pumpkin Vinaigrette’ has the perfect amount of fall flavors and cranberry sweetness, plus it only takes 40 minutes total to pull together. To spice it up for leftovers I’d serve it over a bed of greens.
I’ve always been a ‘girl power’ advocate (Fun Fact: Spice Girls ‘Wannabe’ was one of my first CDs ever!) and being vegan has brought out way more of that women’s empowerment thinking. This ‘Vegan Girl Power’ conference sounds AMAZING!
