Recently, I’ve noticed an Instagram trend with smoothies- less fruit, more vegetables. As a self-proclaimed vegetable enthusiast, I love it!

I’m now in the habit of adding frozen cauliflower to just about every smoothie. This one is no exception, and you won’t even notice the extra vegetables hiding in this delicious spring smoothie.

It’s thick and creamy, thanks to our banana, cauliflower and avocado. Yet also light and refreshing with a touch of mint. And let’s not forget the added protein we get from the addition of sweet peas. It’s spring in a glass!

Spring Green Smoothie with Cauliflower & Mint

Serves: 2 (about 32 ounces total)
Total Time: 5 Min.


1 Large Handful Baby Spinach
1 Frozen Banana, Sliced
½ Cup Frozen Cauliflower Florets
½ Cup Frozen Sweet Peas
½ an Avocado, Peel and Pit Removed
3 Kiwis, Peeled
2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
5-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
1 Handful Ice Cubes (Optional)
1 ½ to 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk


Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and for 2-3 minutes blend, until smooth.

Best if served immediately.
Consume within 24 hours.
