Jenné makes the kind of food I was searching for when I was going vegan, uncomplicated yet with delicious flavors. Ingredients you already have on hand, and things you can throw together quickly when you’re hungry. Food that both new vegans and old vegans need in their life. Truth be told, she really helped me find a balance when I was searching for how to cook and felt swarmed with a YouTube world full of raw vegans, fruitarians, and other unpractical ways of being vegan.
I hope that anyone out there who’s also searching for the ‘best’ way to do veganism can find Jenné. Her recipes and her way of eating real whole plant foods in a practical way are so helpful. If you don’t already know her, I’m so happy to be the one to introduce you. If you do already know her, you lucky duck.
Jenné Claiborne is the personality and brains behind Sweet Potato Soul. She studied at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and shares her knowledge through her website, Youtube, instagram, and more. Jenné’s veganism goes beyond food, she believes you should not only think about what materials are in your clothing but also who’s making them. This thinking led her to the very noble pursuit of ethical fashion.
In this episode Jenné shares the way to eat healthier foods without even realizing it, which Thanksgiving dish she found swapping eggs with sweet potatoes was a perfect replacement, and what the environment has to do with your shoes.
